I Started Listening to the Carpenters Today.

I woke up to a rainy morning, and a carpenter song suddenly came to my mind (Rainy Days and Mondays). I’ve been listening and loving Folklore by Taylor Swift, so the Carpenters songs were something I immediately grew to love.

I’m a 90s kid and I just heard of the Carpenter’s songs during car rides with my grandfather, or when they are played on the radio. I was even surprised that I memorised most lyrics of the songs – Top of the World & Close To You. I know I have heard their songs before, but I never really listened because for me back then, it was just some sad song that the adults love. Today, decided to explore most of their songs.

How I Feel About the Work from Home Set Up

I’ve been working from home, but why do I feel just as tired when I was in the office?

I’ve never tried working from home before, I also haven’t tried bringing a portion of our tasks at home because we were not allowed to do that. Back then, when I thought of the idea of working from home, I always imagined myself acing it – being more productive, and having less mistakes. But boy, I was wrong.

Working in the office has more distractions, and the travel time is an issue too. I’ve always been an introvert and I normally just sit on my desk, do my job, and just interact with my workmates when they start talking to me first. The absence of these distractions has become the perks of working from.

TV Series that I Wasn’t Able to Finish.

Here are 8 TV Series that i started watching – but sadly no plans of finishing.

1. Riverdale – I watched the first season of this series and I found it amazing. However, I just couldn’t bring myself to like the second season, so after watching 2 episodes of the 2nd season, I decided that I have found the end.

2. 13 Reasons Why  – Just like Riverdale, I watched the first season and loved it. Loved the story, the actors, the music. But the second season wasn’t just my type especially when Clay keeps seeing Hannah (and talking to her) in his imagination. 13 Reasons Why was based on a book which was all presented on the first season, so I guess that’s already enough for me – no need to watch the succeeding seasons.

3. Stranger Things – I stopped watching this because I waited for a long time for the second season, and now I am no longer hooked. And here goes my usual problem – I could no longer recall what happened in Season 1 and I forgot all the reasons why it is amazing and why I should keep watching the succeeding seasons. I wrote a summary for this, and I hope that I’d be motivated to watch the 2nd season after reading it.

My Quarantine Productivity Attempts

Last month i decided to learn WordPress theme development – today i realized i couldn’t do it.

In this post, I’m going tell you about my attempts to make my quarantined self productive.

It started with taking online courses at coursera – they have many free courses (only the certificate requires payment). I lasted for a week. I tried studying sociology and literature. I was able to survive the first three hours and after that, i finally convinced myself that it’s just not for me. I think i am going to forget most of the things i learned. I am also not after the certificate. Aside from finding it too expensive, i also don’t think i can use the certificate to earn or get a job here in my country. I was just after the knowledge, and everything i could learn.. but i know my brain is mostly made of bubbles. I can’t even remember what happens on previous seasons on the series that i am watching!
